Cookie Notice

This Cookie Notice explains how Alyssa Boyd LLC, operating Rep Re: Vault (“we,” “us”), uses cookies and similar technologies on our websites and application (the “Service”). It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a site. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, and software development kits (SDKs) that store or read identifiers on your device.

We use these technologies to operate the Service, keep you signed in, remember preferences, understand usage, and—when enabled in the future—support analytics and advertising that may help fund the free product.

2. Categories We Use (or May Use)

CategoryPurposeTypical necessity
Strictly necessaryAuthentication, security, load balancing, fraud prevention, remembering essential session stateRequired for the Service to work
FunctionalRemembering UI preferences or similar non-essential conveniencesOptional; improves experience
AnalyticsUnderstanding how the Service is used, diagnosing errors, improving featuresOptional; may be added or expanded over time
AdvertisingMeasuring or delivering ads if advertising helps fund Rep Re: VaultOptional; not relied on today—disclosed here for readiness

We do not currently depend on advertising cookies to run the core vault. If we enable advertising or additional analytics, we will update this Notice and, where required, provide consent or opt-out controls.

Separately from cookies, optional precise device location is collected only after you opt in on the facility check-in screen, is used to suggest nearby facilities and may be stored with that visit, is never sold, and is never continuous background tracking.

3. Examples of Purposes (No Exhaustive Vendor List Yet)

Until we publish a detailed cookie table with named vendors, assume processing may involve:

  • Session and authentication cookies from our app and auth provider
  • Security and preference storage in the browser
  • Infrastructure cookies from cloud hosting
  • Future analytics or ad measurement tags (for example, common industry analytics platforms), if activated

For categories of service providers generally, see the Privacy Policy (cloud hosting, authentication, email delivery, and analytics providers).

4. How to Control Cookies

Browser controls

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Check your browser’s help pages for “cookies” or “privacy.” Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent login or core features from working.

In-product / banner controls

If we deploy a cookie banner or preference center, use it to manage optional analytics or advertising cookies. Until that UI ships, rely on browser settings and contact us with questions.

Analytics / ads industry opt-outs (when applicable)

If we later use third-party advertising or analytics that participate in industry opt-out programs, we will link those tools here (for example, browser-based ad preference tools). Check back when ads are enabled.

Do Not Track

We do not currently respond uniformly to “Do Not Track” browser signals. Use the controls above.

5. Relationship to Sale / Share of Personal Information

We do not sell personal information for money today and do not knowingly “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising today. If advertising technologies change that status under California or similar laws, we will update the Privacy Policy and provide required opt-out links before or when that practice begins.

6. Changes

We may update this Cookie Notice as our practices evolve. The “Last updated” date will change when we post revisions. Material changes related to new analytics or ads will also be reflected in the Privacy Policy.

7. Contact

These pages describe our practices; they are not a substitute for legal advice to your organization.
